Now that it is getting colder, you can expect a few things around the city, the tree lighting, holiday windows and of course, ice skating! This season the Winterland Rink returns on November 22 for its second season on The Rooftop at Pier 17, and will remain open into March 2020.

This season, guests are invited to skate with a dramatic view of the skyline at New York’s only open-air rooftop ice rink in the heart of downtown Manhattan. Boasting panoramic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, and other landmarks, Winterland Rink will be open seven days a week, with fun weekly programming including themed playlist skates, special pricing for the neighborhood community, group and private instructional skate lessons, and much more.

Daily skating tickets and season memberships to Winterland Rink will be available for public purchase starting November 8 on, ranging from $14–35 dollars for general admission and season memberships beginning at $50. For the youth inspired to learn to skate, children five years old and younger skate free (skate rentals not included).
