On Sunday, October 22, 2017, all roads in the tri-state area will lead to Falucka Lounge, 162 Bleecker Street, New York City, 10012, from 5–10 PM for the Inaugural “W.A.R. (We Are Rising) Benefit. Celebrities that are onboard to lend a hand include Teri Woods, Chris Avery Bennet, along with VH1 Love & Hip Hop NY’s Crissy Monroe, who will share her experiences, as well as offer tips on surviving Domestic Violence. In addition, other celebs in attendance will include TV Personality April Mallory of She’s The Boss, Author Esha Jay, Aurora Gordon of Battered 2 Beautiful, Queenie James of QB Makeovers and Celebrity Stylist Aeisha Mitchell,of Hair Lady of Brooklyn & Glamm GoWigs, will provide beauty ideas and makeovers.

The evening’s mission is to empower women who have faced difficult challenges in their lives and enable them to remain motivated. “W.A.R. (We Are Rising) provides an avenue to instill courage, hope and the means to move forward for victims of Domestic Violence. Participants are ensured to enjoy a night of fabulous mini-makeovers, hair and make-up tips, raffles and give-aways, combined with music, entertainment and awesome surprises.
