Viral Candy Artist by robynblair partners with Neon Design Company NAME GLO for Bergdorf’s Pop Up
Yesterday, by robynblair, the viral candy art brand, and insta-famous neon studio, NAME GLO, announced the launch of their Artists in Residence art installation exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman.
Renowned for their bright candy artwork designs, by robynblair will be showcasing its signature candy creations in partnership with NAME GLO’s unique neon designs to add delicious pops of color to Bergdorf’s luxury fashion and decor offerings.
Now through March 9, visitors can experience the light and sweet magic through the installation’s curated neon and candy collection. The exhibit marks the third collaboration between by robynblair and NAME GLO and their largest collaborative installation to date.
“It’s an honor to partner with the iconic Bergdorf Goodman. Sharing my passion for color and showing how our favorite candies can add a luxe and joyful feeling to any home is a dream come true,” said Robyn Blair Davidson, the Artist-Entrepreneur of by robynblair. “NAME GLO’s custom lighting brings a special element to the entire installation and makes the experience perfect for visitors to soak up some inspiration.”
The two brands came together in 2016, when Davidson and NAME GLO worked on a custom neon for Davidson’s home. When by robynblair launched shortly afterwards, the two artists felt a natural synergy between their work. In 2018 they created their signature SUGAR FREE centerpieces together, which enhanced the clever neon sign with actual candy in the artwork.
After launching their exclusive and successful #lightandsweet collection on ArtStar, the artists were looking for the next opportunity that would best allow them to bring their creations to a new audience.
The by robynblair x NAME GLO installation will be on display on the seventh floor “home” section starting today through mid-March, with pieces from the installation also available for purchase in store. To learn more, please visit the seventh floor of Bergdorf Goodman at 754 5th Ave.
