Ulysse Nardin Launches Marine Torpilleur Military Semper Fortis

Ulysse Nardin has introduced the new Marine Torpilleur Military Semper Fortis. This timepiece pays tribute to the unknown story of our partnership supplying Marine Deck Chronometers to the U.S. Navy. This began in the early 1900s; Ulysse Nardin was tested by the Naval Observatory in Washington and selected because the pieces were first in both precision and reliability.

Based upon the original chronometer design, this modern iteration echoes the same stipulations made by the Navy a century ago, including a polished shiny steel case, over-sized crown, roman numerals, and a large small second for readability. It was launched this past weekend at the Congressional Medal of Honor Convention in Annapolis, where Ulysse Nardin participated as a ‘Stars & Stripes’ partner.

This piece launches exclusively in the U.S. end of September with a retail price of $7,900.
