Top Chef Tom Colicchio Invests in DTC Cookware Brand & Joins Advisory Board

Made In, one of the fastest growing companies in the direct-to-consumer kitchen market, has announced an investment from prolific Chef & TV personality, Tom Colicchio. Colicchio will also spearhead the brand’s Advisory Board where he will offer council in respect to new product launches, production and educational content.

As a disruptor, Made In has done more than simply cut out the middleman, they’ve created a brand that chefs can get excited about. While there have been similar successful business models in other industries from contact lenses to mattresses, Made In is pioneering the kitchen space. Together, Made In and Colicchio will help make professional kitchen tools accessible to the home cook. He will also outfit his new New York restaurant with all Made In cookware.

The news comes off the heels of the brand’s one-year anniversary.
