Toast to Harry and Meghan’s anniversary with these delicious cocktail recipes
What a difference a year can make, just last year on this day, Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle walked down the aisle at Windsor. Now, the Royal Baby is here, and we’re all in need of a cocktail after one of the quickest turnarounds in royal history.
This week, in honor of Prince Archie and the couple’s one year anniversary, we’re sipping on some tasty Mount Gay Rum, The Botanist Gin, and Cointreau cocktails and saying congrats to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Mount Gay Rum — Just Peachy
- Mount Gay Black Barrel — 1 Bottle
- Fresh Lime Juice — 9 oz
- Simple Syrup — 9 oz
- Soda water — 12 oz
- 2 Peaches (thinly sliced)
- Mint sprigs
Add Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup and Peaches to punch bowl. When ready to serve, top with Soda Water, add ice and garnish with Mint Sprigs and Lime Wheels.
The Botanist Gin — Fino Fix
- Pink Peppercorn-Infused Botanist Gin — 1.5oz
- Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice — .75oz
- Fino Sherry — .75oz
- Simple Syrup — .5oz
- 1 Strawberry
In cocktail shaker, muddle 1 strawberry. Add The Botanist Gin, Fresh Lemon Juice and Fino Sherry. Shake and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with Halved Strawberry on side of glass.
Cointreau — The Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita
- Cointreau — 1oz
- Blanco Tequila — 2oz
- Fresh Lime Juice — 1oz
- 3 cucumber coins
- 2 slices jalapeno
Muddle the Cucumber in cocktail shaker. Add Cointreau, Blanco Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, 2 slice of Jalapeno, and Cucumber Coins into cocktail shaker. Shake all ingredients and strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with Cucumber Ribbon and Jalapeño Coins.
