On March 12, 2018 Man Made Music’s hosted a panel at SXSW. Moderated by Joel Beckerman, the Founder of MMM and Author of The Sonic Boom, the panel will also include John Spencer, Outer Space Architect, and Dr. Yvonne Cagle, Doctor, Astronaut, and Stanford University Consulting Professor.

Titled, Mars or Bust: Designing for the Future of Humanity, the panel transported the audience through a sensory experience to life on Mars. The discussion started with Day One on Mars and end on Day 100, guiding listeners through the experience of living on Mars in hopes of getting people invested in this move into the future and sparked conversation around the concept of a “take-two” for the development of human civilization.

It’s not just the final frontier, it’s the NEXT frontier. Interest in life on the Red Planet is at an all-time high, as the world’s leading designers, thinkers and makers envision how human life would and could function on Mars. Panelists will discuss the value of entertainment experiences in understanding the reality of a life on Mars.
