We chatted with Spikes and asked his opinion about the recent NFL take a knee controversy, “the whole thing is ridiculous, if people listen to what the players are protesting, we wouldn’t be discussing this right now,” Spikes said. He went on to say, “I support Colin and everyone bringing awareness to police brutality that has been happening in our country for far too long.”
Takeo toasted the evening with a special Hennessy Paradis Imperial tasting, and guests enjoyed live music on The DL’s rooftop patio with on-site hand rolled cigars, live auction and “Behind The Mask” book signings and meet and greet with Spikes and Carson.
