Many New Yorkers have noticeably temporarily left the cold and snow of Manhattan to the clear skies and warm weather of Palm Beach, Florida. One of our favorite New Yorkers, Jean Shafiroff is currently in Palm Beach, however, don’t think that she’s just catching a tan on the beach.

Shafiroff was recently spotted hosting a luncheon in honor of American Humane at Swifty’s Palm Beach, located at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. This is fitting as she is an American Humane Board Member and National Spokesperson and Ambassador for the American Humane’s Feed the Hungry Covid-19 Program, and Christine Schott Ledes served as co-host of this event.

Robin Ganzert, the CEO and President of the American Humane, was in attendance to greet guests. Jean Shafiroff and Robin Ganzert both spoke about the life changing work of the Feed the Hungry Covid-19 Program. Founded in 1877, American Humane is committed to ensuring the safety, welfare and well-being of animals. Their leadership programs are first to serve in promoting and nurturing the bonds between animals and humans.

Those in attendance included Jean Shafiroff, Christine Schott Ledes, Robin Ganzert, Patty Raynes, Alex Hamer, Peter Callahan, Josephine Callahan, Tatiana Platt, Yaz Hernandez, Kim Heirston, Alex Donner, Annette De Lorenzo, Ruth Miller, Holly Holden, Karen Klopp, Stacey Kofeod, Robert Caravaggi, and Pamela O’Connor.
