Yesterday, the Grey Goose Blue Door hosted the casts and filmmakers of game-changing films for panel discussions during the Sundance Film Festival, including: A Boy. A Girl. A Dream: Love on Election Night with Meagan Good, Omari Hardwick, and Jay Ellis; Piercing with Christopher Abbott and Nicolas Pesce; Matangi/Maya/M.I.A. with M.I.A.; Believer with Dan Reynolds; Assassination Nation with Sam Levinson; and Paint with Olivia Luccardi. Below, some fun tidbits from the snowy afternoon in Park City:

  • After several intense months of filming Nicolas Pesce’s psycho-thriller, Piercing, the cast and crew made a huge splash on set to celebrate their final take. The star, Christopher Abbott, said everyone was so relieved to wrap the daunting horror film, that they all jumped into the pool on set to blow off steam and swam around in pure relief.
  • Dan Reynolds, the frontman of rock band Imagine Dragons, shouted with glee when he heard that singer Joan Jett was at Sundance. He said, “Of all the amazing people at Sundance, she is the one I would love to get a drink with.” But after a few minutes of reflection, he abandoned his idol, and admitted that he’d actually prefer to see his wife, admitting: “I know it’s cheesy, but I miss my wife a lot.”

  • Actress Olivia Luccardi, of the short film Paint which premiered at Sundance, had a fitting request for staff at the Grey Goose Blue Door. An onlooker said she requested a handful of Grey Goose cocktail stirrers to add to her collection saying, “I collect them! I have so many at home!”

Later in the evening, Naomi Watts, George MacKay, Devon Terrell, and Tom Felton celebrated the successful premiere of Ophelia, their highly anticipated mythic spin on Hamlet from the lens of women empowerment, at the Grey Goose Blue Door.

Director, Claire McCarthy joined the cast to toast their work with a collection of Grey Goose signature cocktails including the Festival’s Official Cocktail — the Grey Goose Mainstreet, a delicious combination of Grey Goose, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, fresh pineapple juice, and soda water.
