RUFFINO Wines and Little Pie Company launch the First Ever Prosecco Pie
RUFFINO Wines and Little Pie Company have partnered to create the perfect party pastry — Prosecco Pie! Launching November 5, The RUFFINO Salted Caramel Prosecco Pie is the first ever Prosecco Pie, and is sure to be the most buzzed about dish at any holiday soiree.
For over 33 years, The Little Pie has created fresh, hand-made pies and gained a serious cult following, which includes celebrities such as Oprah and Sarah Jessica Parker. Little Pie Company collaborated with RUFFINO to create the perfect seasonal pie inspired by the apple and citrus flavors in RUFFINO’s Prosecco. The delectable dessert is baked with apple, brown sugar, salted caramel and RUFFINO Prosecco.
“I love that I get to experiment with different ingredients to create something delicious that has never been done,” said Little Pie Company’s creator Arnold Wilkerson. “We had a blast creating the RUFFINO Prosecco Pie, from finding the perfect balance between the prosecco, apple and salted caramel to ensure its mouthwatering taste, to decorating the crust. Prosecco and pie are holiday staples, so now you can enjoy them all at once!”
The pies are available in two sizes: enjoy the 10-inch pie with the entire family or pair the 5-inch personal pie with a mini bottle of RUFFINO Prosecco.
The limited-edition RUFFINO Salted Caramel Prosecco Pies will be available from November 5 to December 31 in store at Little Pie Company (424 W 43rd St.) or online here (ships nationwide). Ten inch pies are available for $35, and personal five inch pies for $9.50.
