As Art Basel 2017 kicks off in Miami Beach, we wanted to share an exciting installation captivating art lovers down in Miami. Room 2022: An Installation by Es Devlin, Presented by American Express Platinum.
In Room 2022, award-winning artist and stage designer Es Devlin reimagines the physical and psychological space of the Miami Beach EDITION hotel through a site-specific, experiential installation featuring a vaulted elliptical mirror maze, soundscapes and video. The work utilizes the physical characteristics of hotel design to explore the psychology of human experience within these spaces, and the everyday acts of magic and imagination that allow them to function.
The installation is free and open to the public from Thursday, December 7 — Sunday, December 10, 2017. American Express Platinum Card Members can enjoy special access to ROOM 2022 through a dedicated entry line.
