Last night, Grey Goose hosted a dinner at East Village hotspot Baar Baar celebrating Prabal Gurung’s fall/winter 2019 collection with an eclectic mix of VIP guests, including: Huma Abedin, Nina Agdal, Bella Thorne, Zara Larsson, Lana Condor, Angela Sarafyan, Sarah Hoover, Mia Moretti, Phillip Picardi, Aurora James, Chriselle Lim and MJ Rodriguez.

Prabal spoke to the star-studded crowd about how he hoped to inspire inclusivity through his work — toasting individuals from different races, religions, genders, and backgrounds at the event. True to form, the “wokest” man in fashion’s dinner was attended by the likes of Black Lives Matter founder DeRay McKesson and poet and activist Cleo Wade. The entire evening was an ode to the East-meets-West inspiration for Prabal’s new collection, from Baar Baar’s elevated Indian cuisine to the moving performance from Nepalese model/singer Varsha Thapa.

Guests indulged in celebratory Grey Goose cocktails, including bespoke martinis from the Grey Goose martini fountain, aptly dubbed La Fontaine. The fountain was a huge hit with VIPs, including Mia Moretti, who kept enthusiastically refilling her glass.

Mia Moretti wasn’t the only one who had a fun night out. Noted girl-about-town Bella Thorne was clad in a brazen floral print suit and brought the party with her. Between her sips of cocktails, she was overheard requesting vegan food at the Indian restaurant, for a little bit of retox/detox. Gurung and his guests capped Baar Baar’s sophisticated Indian dishes with Grey Goose Espresso Martinis, providing the crowd with an energizing boost in the middle of a very busy Fashion Week.
