Oscars Cocktails for the Best Watch Party Ever

Awards Season is in full swing, with the 91st Annual Oscars taking place on February 24. Roll out the red carpet during this year’s watch party with an array of celebratory cocktails from William Grant & Sons. Toast to the winners with refreshing recipes from Hendrick’s Gin, Glenfiddich and Fistful of Bourbon!

The Hendrick’s Red Carpet Kickoff

2 parts Hendrick’s Gin

1 part Giffard Pamplemousse

½ part apricot liqueur

1 part fresh lime juice

½ part egg white

Method: Combine ingredients and shake with ice, then shake without ice. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a rose petal.

The Orbium On-Screen Romance

1 part Hendrick’s Orbium Gin

¼ part cassis liqueur

½ part basil syrup

Method: Stir and serve in a champagne flute. Top with dry Champagne. Nepitella mint with bloom garnish.

The Glenfiddich Old Hollywood

2 parts Glenfiddich 14 Year Old

¼ part demerara syrup (1:1)

2 dashes peach bitters

1 grapefruit twist, to garnish

Method: In a double rocks glass, add the Demerara syrup and bitters. Add the Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve, then ice (preferably one large cube) and stir. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

The Glenfiddich Award-Winning Apple

1 part Glenfiddich 12 Year Old

1 part club soda

1 part non-alcoholic apple cider

½ part fresh lemon juice

¼ part Drambuie

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Method: Combine the Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, lemon juice, Drambuie, and bitters. Shake briefly and pour into a flute. Add club soda and cider. Garnish with lemon peel.

The Fistful Big Star Sparkler

1 ½ oz Fistful of Bourbon

2 oz pear puree

¾ oz Ginger syrup

½ oz Lemon

2 oz Sparkling wine

Method: Combine ingredients except sparkling wine and shake well Strain into a rocks glass over ice Top with sparkling wine Garnish with a star anise.

The Fistful Smash Hit

2 oz (parts) Fistful of Bourbon

½ oz (parts) grapefruit oleo

½ oz (parts) fresh lemon juice

10 loose mint leaves

Method: Combine ingredients and shake well. Strain over crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and grapefruit twist.
