Once in a Blue Moon — not just the phrase — there comes a celestial phenomenon which literally is the Blue Moon. A Blue Moon occurs when there are two full moons within one calendar month and later this month, following our March 1 full moon, we can expect a second Blue Moon to take place on March 31.
March’s Blue Moon is exceptional, since it’s the second Blue Moon we’ll see in 2018, with the first having occurred on January 31. We won’t see another one until 2020 or have a year with two Blue Moons again until 2037!
To celebrate the unique celestial occurrence, we suggest the 2016 7 Moons Red Blend as the perfect wine to toast the occasion. The smooth, easy drinking wine celebrates the seven phases of the moon with its blend of 7 grape varietals and moon phase label. Lastly, we suggest it as the ideal wine to enjoy for the Blue Moon later this month.
