New Release: St-Germain’s New Cocktail Book ‘How to Spritz French Fluently’

Following the successful release of How to Drink French Fluently in 2016, PUNCH Creative and Master Mixologist Camille Ralph Vidal are delighted to announce the release of their follow-up cocktail book How to Spritz French Fluently, hitting shelves March 1.

Delineated by season, How to Spritz French Fluently features 40 easy-to-make spritz recipes from top bartenders around the world including Maxime Belfant (Saxon + Parole), Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan), Sarah Morrissey (Frenchette), Lauren Corriveau (Nitecap), and Brian Bartels (Bar Sardine), amongst others. Each of the recipes showcase how to use St-Germain French elderflower liqueur, demonstrating its versatility and role as a key ingredient in today’s low-ABV cocktail movement. Author and St-Germain Global Ambassador Camille Ralph Vidal provides readers with a step-by-step guide to creating a convivial celebration with Instagram-worthy, tasty cocktails in the spirit of the French joie de vivre.


1oz St-Germain

1oz cognac

0.75oz pear juice

0.75oz lemon juice

0.5oz Quartre Epices Honey Syrup

Club soda to top

Method: Combine all ingredients the club soda, in a mixing tin and shake. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a horse’s neck lemon peel and freshly cracked pepper.


1.5oz Lemorton Pommeau

0.5oz clear creek douglas fir brandy

0.5oz St-Germain

2oz dry sparkling cider to top

1oz soda water to top

Method: Pour al ingredients except sparkling cider and soda water into a wineglass filled with ice. Stir to combine. Top with sparkling cider and soda water. Garnish with a lemon twist and a Castelvetrano olive on a pick.

3oz champagne

1oz cold chai tea

0.5oz St-Germain

0.5oz vermouth

2 dashes Pernod

Method: Pour all ingredients into a Collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with grapes and a lemon twist.
