Mezcal Union Introduces Simple Summer Cocktails

This summer, take your tastes to the next level with new Mezcal Union’s easy to make, craft cocktails — straight from Oaxaca. A refreshing new mezcal launching in the US this month, Mezcal Union offers an artisanal blend of agave with just a hint of smokiness to deliver the flavors of Oaxaca right into your glass.

Whether you opt for Mezcal Union’s Joven — fruity, earthy and herbal — or El Viejo with aromas of butter, mint, cinnamon, mango and herbs, you will not be disappointed. Test out the Flamingo for a summer Sunday Brunch or go for the Hierbanada for a backyard BBQ — either is a far step up from the mundane margarita!

Even better, Mezcal Union has a greater good in mind — with a mission of uniting Oaxaca’s farmers and producers. Mezcal Union supports indigenous families through initial investments in order for them to be able to reforest their fields with agave and improve their Palenques (Distilleries), helping both the Mexican economy and environment.

Additionally, this weekend, New Yorkers were able to try Mezcal Union during the Café Paraíso Popup at Roberta’s Pizza in Brooklyn. Roberta’s hosted a special popup to kick off the summer featuring specialty Mezcal Union cocktails.

Guests were able to groove to live Latin music alongside Mezcal Union founder Alejandro Champion, in from Oaxaca, and enjoyed a special menu from Roberta’s.
