Live from Sundance… Here’s everything that happened on day two, Saturday, Jan. 27, at the WanderLuxxe Filmmaker Lounge on Main Street hosted by Essential Costa Rica!

Following morning yoga hosted by Lululemon, festival goers cozied up at the lounge for a fireside chat with actress Tichina Arnold of “The Last Black Man in San Francisco.” Tichina discussed her career start and new film, and shared her views on the Me Too movement.

Later, attendees met for a “Diverse Representation” panel for conversation around diversity in the entertainment industry from the perspective of African American film industry professionals. Panelists included Image Elevators CEO BJ Coleman, BBC Studios VP Joy Ganes, Television Literary Agent and ICM Partners Ava Greenfield, and Stride Management Talent Manager James Jolly.

During the daily Aprés Ski happy hour, Michelin-star trained Costa Rican Chef Santiago Fernández Benedetto warmed up the lounge with hot cocoa made from raw cacao brought straight from Costa Rica’s cacao farms. David Arquette, Netflix’s Ozark actor Seth Dousman, and CBSs Madam Secretary actor Tim Daley were among some of the notable attendees.

In the evening, R&B icon Macy Gray performed her hit song “I Try” and renditions of Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” and Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” to an intimate group at the lounge, followed by an after party hosted by Company 3 and APEX Social Club.
