After record-breaking low temperatures, extreme weather and polar vortex’s, the reprieve of spring and summer months hopefully looms on the horizon. As any new season brings a buzz-like-atmosphere, there are many ways to conjure that daydream of warmer weather — one being rosé.

We encourage you to try the Rosé of the season, the Bonterra Organic Vineyards 2018 Rosé.

The Bonterra 2018 Rosé ($16, available nationwide and on celebrates the fresh, lively spirit of organic viticulture and the lush fruit flavors that shine through in this vintage.

The wine’s aromas of strawberry, key lime, rosewater and hints of pineapple greet the nose, while a vibrant bouquet melts across the palate, with notes of ripe peaches, watermelon, and pomegranate.

The fruit for this wine comes from Bonterra’s exceptional vineyards in Mendocino County, CA, where wildflowers grace the vineyards and the winery’s organic philosophies are carried out throughout the entire farming process.

Jeff Cichocki, Bonterra’s lead winemaker, explains, “This is a dry Rosé, making it an ideal wine to enjoy on its own, but it is also incredibly versatile to pair with food. Think picnic fare, Asian-fusion, poached salmon, grilled fish or fresh salads.”
