In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Jungsik, the celebrated two Michelin-starred New Korean restaurant in Tribeca, will be donating $1 from every purchase of their Cherry Blossom Ending Cocktail to breast cancer research for the month of October.

The Cherry Blossom Ending Cocktail is a riff on a classic gin martini with a floral punch. Mancino makes a seasonal limited-edition Sakura version of their vermouth from Piedmonte in the north of Italy and the martini is floral but backed by the juniper and citrus from the gin. It’s perfect to enjoy as an aperitif while supporting a great cause.

  • 2.5oz. Cherry Blossom Infused Citadelle Gin 2.5oz
  • 0.75oz. Mancino Sakura Vermouth 0.75oz
  • Splash of Navarro Vineyard Pinot Noir Juice
  • 1 Bar Spoon of Cherry Blossom Confiture

Directions: Take gin, vermouth and pinot noir juice and combine in a mixing glass. Then take a chilled martini coupe and place one bar spoon of sakura confiture into the bottom of the glass. Stir theingredients in the mixing glass with cold draft ice cubes until the martini is cold. Strain with a julep strainer into the martini coupe. Serve immediately.

This cocktail pairs nicely with any of their dishes at the bar from the a la carte menu including Galbi with sweet soy, Branzino with white Kimchi, or their signature menu favorite Spanish Octopus.
