Jump Into a Seuss-tastic World with Dr. Seuss’ ABC-An Amazing AR Alphabet! App

Kids can now see their favorite Dr. Seuss Characters literally jump off the page as Dr. Seuss Enterprises introduces their very first Augment Reality experience — Dr. Seuss’ ABC-An Amazing AR Alphabet! App. Come play with Aunt Annie’s Alligator or Young Yolanda Yorganson! And even better — you can even create your own Seuss-tastic AR story world with the app. The app, which Dr. Seuss Enterprises created in partnership with Sugar Creative, is available today on both the Apple Store and Google Play.

It was also created with support from Unity’s MARS extension, which powers the augmented reality technology within the app.

Dr. Seuss’s ABC — An Amazing AR Alphabet! App is now available on the Apple App store and Google Play for phones and tablets and is also a tribute to Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, which kicked off yesterday, March 2nd, with the celebration continuing through the week.

The app allows kids to play with animated characters such as Aunt Annie’s Alligator, David Donald Doo, Fiffer-Feffer-Feff, Little Lola Lopp, Vera Violet Vinn, Young Yolanda Yorganson, Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, and more — and even create their own AR story world.

“Dr. Seuss’s ABC — An Amazing AR Alphabet! App is an exciting way to ignite young imaginations through interactive play with the creative stories and beloved characters both kids and parents love,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises President Susan Brandt said in a statement. “We are thrilled to launch the app just in time to commemorate the annual Dr. Seuss’s Birthday holiday.”

The app also offers an innovate Sandbox feature that allows kids to select animated characters and create their very own AR world.

Dr. Seuss’s ABC — An Amazing AR Alphabet! App is powered by Unity’s MARS extension, which gives brands the power to build mixed reality (MR) and augmented reality (AR) applications that intelligently interact with any real-world environment for a deeper sense of presence and context. Unity provides the most accessible real-time platform and powers more than 60% of all the world’s AR and VR content.

The app is available for download on the Apple App Store and on Google Play for $3.99.
