Powerful and passionate: this is the Burnett woman as imagined for Fall 2019. Taking inspiration from 1980’s film heroines such as Sigourney Weaver in Half Moon Street, and Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface, the collection explores the wardrobe as a means of expression.

Daytime looks evoke the mantras of power dressing and the working woman, as seen in sharp tailoring and suiting- while evening takes a decidedly alluring slant- where women use refined glamour to convey strength.

The palate is bold, highlighting shades of ivory, black, indigo, bordeaux, and emerald. Fabrications range from leather and wool for suiting, to silk crepe, embellished tulle and pleated lame and chiffon for evening.

The goal of both founders is to not just create beautiful clothes, but to reframe the fashion space by supporting artistry, fostering community, and paying it forward in everything they do.
