Inside The 6th Annual #BoF500 Gala In Brooklyn
Last night, The Business of Fashion (BoF) welcomed guests from over 30 countries around the world at the annual #BoF500 Gala at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge to celebrate the pioneers, disruptors, activists and innovators shaping the global fashion industry. Now a major event on the international fashion calendar, attendees came from as far away as Brazil, Japan, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Australia. The #BoF500 for 2018 was supported by JHSF, Nordstrom and Affirm.
Guests included: Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Troye Sivan, Taylor Hill, Lily Aldridge, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tiffany Haddish, Amber Mark, Carine Roitfeld, Tommy & Dee Hilfiger, Tory Burch, Pierre-Yves Roussel, Jason Wu, Adut Akech, Karen Elson, Winnie Harlow and more than 150 other international luminaries from the increasingly interconnected worlds of fashion, technology, business, beauty, art and design.
“For the 6th annual #BoF500 we focused on the change agents building and shaping a better fashion industry,” said Imran Amed, Founder & CEO of BoF. “There’s no doubt it has been a challenging time for the fashion business, a time for reflection. But as we discovered in putting together this issue, there are many positive stories to tell and we are very happy to tell them.”
At dinner, each guest received a custom designed iPhone case emblazoned with a BoF 500 logo created by Chaos. Dinner was followed by a special musical performance by Interscope Records artist Amber Mark.
Many of the guests continued on to the after party celebration upstairs at the Brooklyn Heights Social Club and were treated to a special musical performance by rising British-Japanese music sensation Rina Sawayama and a DJ set by Isaac Hindin-Miller.
