In The City: The Hao Life Debuts Beauty & Brains Superblends

The Hao Life’s two innovative superblends Surface Appeal and Sharp Focus — officially launched onThursday October 13th. Last week, in celebration of the new line — which aims to clear skin and improve concentration — Co-Founders, Danielle Chang and William Li, hosted an intimate launch party at a rooftop garden in NYC’s West Village. The new products join the brand’s inaugural collection of the first ever premium superblends based on millennia-old Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulas for holistic health.

The party continued upstairs in the kitchen area with a gorgeous spread of colorful plants, moss, and mushrooms next to the products on the main wooden table.

The menu also featured The HAO Life-inspired ingredients just like the specialty cocktails, and offered, Lions Mane “Chili Crab,” Tuna Tartare, “Bak Kut Teh” Carnitas, Peekytow Crab Dumplings, Lobster Roll, and Chrysanthemum and Honey Panna Cotta, which were created with Chinese herbs, ginseng and reishi mushrooms, Goji Berry Compote and more! The exploring continued upstairs to the rooftop, with a water tower that was transformed into a gorgeous and peaceful meditational seating area, and views that overlook downtown New York.

The apothecary-cum-urban zen sanctuary presented a one-of-a-kind immersion into Traditional Chinese Medicine and The Hao Life’s newest super blends, featuring organic herbal installations, personalized readings by brand formulator and medicinal expert, David Melladew, and TCM-inspired hors devours prepared by Chef Simpson Wong.

The intimate soiree previewed the two new varietals, providing guests an experiential first-look into the natural ingredients utilized by Eastern medicine for millennia, now adapted for the modern day.
