Get Ready For The Golden Goose Deluxe Brand STARDAN Launch

We have some exciting fashion/sneaker news to share! Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, the new unisex STARDAN sneaker launches on Thursday, July 12th at Dover Street Market, followed by a worldwide launch online.

STARDAN defines the ultimate worn-out effect that GGDB is most known for, carrying indelible signs of life, and pages of the brand’s history. Made from both plain and distressed Italian leather, the shoes reference the iconic colors of US basketball teams, including a net on the star as an homage to the basket itself.

The STARDAN will be available in five different colorways, gradually releasing through Fall. Every colorway will be delivered in a both heavily distressed and clean version, all coming in limited products runs.

The STARDAN campaign titled Labor of Love, was created in collaboration with New York Sunshine to coincide with the Venice Biennale of Architecture.

In addition to the sneaker launch, the collaboration is meant to create a “summary of streetwear from a Venetian point of view.” In their video entitled ‘Sezione Aurea,’ meaning “golden ratio,” the brand works to take something imperfect and provide it with purpose — a core brand pillar for both Golden Goose Deluxe Brand and New York Sunshine.
