Get Into The Spring ‘Spirit’ With These Cocktail Recipes

Spring has sprung! And we’ll drink to that. There’s so much to toast to! Warmer weather, lighter clothing, days spent in the park, rooftop happy hours…Along with all the seasonal menu changes comes the blossoming and bright specialty cocktails that are sure to put some pep in your spring. And tbh… some of these creations look better than we do.

Here are some places to really taste the start of spring!

Mango Basil Margarita (created by Will Benedetto, Cocktail Curator, In Good Company Hospitality)

2 oz of Casamigos Blanco Tequila

1 oz of mango basil puree*

0.75 oz of lime juice

*Mango Basil Puree

1500 g of mango puree

300 g of basil

400 g of agave

2 oz of vodka

Shake all ingredients with 5–6 ice cubes. Without using a strainer, pour the entire contents into a Tajin rimmed rocks glass.

Rumination Cocktail — (created by Josh Cameron, Head Bartender, Boulton & Watt)

1.5 oz. London Dry Gin
0.75 oz. lavender syrup
0.5 oz. Benedictine
0.5 oz. lemon
2 dash peach bitters
2 dash Angostura bitters

Shake all ingredients together and strain into a glass piled high with crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of lavender.

Strawberry Spice (created by Rekorderlig Cider)

1 oz tequila
1 oz lime juice
11.2 oz can Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime
2–3 strawberries

Coat the rim of a tall drinking glass with lime, salt and chili flakes. Pour in tequila, lime juice and Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime and stir. Garnish with chopped fresh strawberries.
