Fun St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails To Get Lucky

St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest parties of the year. The celebration is a tradition for many of us, whether we have a drop of Irish blood or not. If you’re joining in the fun, you will definitely need a few great drinks for the occasion.

From green beer to cocktails featuring Irish whiskey and other lucky spirits, there’s a fun and tasty recipe to fit every taste. Mix one of these up and start spreading the Irish cheer — Erin go Bragh!

St. Paddy’s Spritzer

2 oz. Smirnoff Cucumber-Lime Zero Sugar Infusions

1 oz. cucumber puree

1 oz. brewed green tea

1 oz. bottled sparkling water

1 Lime wheel

1 cucumber wheel

Directions: In a cocktail stirring pitcher, combine the Smirnoff Cucumber-Lime Zero Sugar Infusion, cucumber puree, brewed green tea and sparkling water. Pour over ice. Garnish with fresh lime and cucumber.

Fizzy Leprechaun

6 oz. Smirnoff Ice Green Apple

2 oz. sparkling lemonade

1 maraschino cherry

1 sour candy rainbow belt

Directions: Combine Smirnoff Ice Green Apple and sparkling lemonade in a cocktail stirring pitcher; mix well. Pour over ice in a cocktail glass. Thread the maraschino cherry and rainbow candy onto a cocktail stirrer and garnish drink.

Lucky Melon Cooler

4–6 honeydew melon balls, chilled

4 oz. Smirnoff Seltzer Cranberry Lime

1 oz. honeydew puree

2 oz. lime juice

Lime slices for garnish

Fresh clover sprigs (or clover frozen in ice cubes)

Directions: Fill a tall cocktail glass with honeydew melon balls. Mix seltzer and lime juice in a cocktail stirring pitcher. Pour over chilled melon and garnish with lime slices and fresh clover sprigs.

Coup Of Gold

Ingredients:

1.5 cups Cointreau

3 cups The Botanist Gin

1.5 cups fresh lemon juice

0.5 cup simple syrup

1 tablespoon ground turmeric

20 mint leaves

Directions:

Stir all ingredients together in a punch bowl and refrigerate. When Ready to serve, add large ice cube (s) to bowl and garnish with lemon wheels and a few additional mint leaves if desired. Ladle into coupe glasses and add garnish to serve. (serves 8)

Matcha Margarita

Ingredients:

1 oz. Cointreau

2 oz. Tequila

.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 barspoons of Matcha Green Tea Powder fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

On Cloud 9

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. The Botanist Gin

1.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

6 fresh Mint “eaves

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a shaker. Add ice and shake. Fine strain over ice into a Rocks glass. Garnish with a Fresh Mint Sprig.

Golden Hour

Ingredients:

2 oz. The Botanist Gin

.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

.75 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice

.5 oz. Fermented Honey

3 Fresh Basil Leaves

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and strain into a chilled Coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf.

Fermented Honey: Add 1-part water to 8-parts honey in a mason jar. Stir and leave with lid resting on top. Stir every day for 2 weeks.

Chalet Chai

Ingredients:

2 oz Mount Gay Black Barrel or 2 oz Mount Gay Extra Old

3 dashes Angostura® bitters

1 rough cut sugar cube

Orange peel

Directions:

Muddle the sugar and bitters in mixing glass. Add Mount Gay Black Barrel or Mount Gay Extra Old Rum, ice and stir.

Luck O’ the Irish Apple Sipper

INGREDIENTS

3 ounces Barefoot Moscato Spumante Bubbly

1 ounce Irish Whiskey

1 ounce Apple Juice

Apple Slice Garnish

DIRECTIONS

Combine Irish Whiskey and apple juice in cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake to blend and chill.

Strain into champagne flute.

Top with Moscato Spumante.

Garnish with apple slice.

Pinch Me Prosecco

INGREDIENTS

3 ounces Barefoot Bubbly Prosecco — chilled

¾ ounce lime juice

¾ ounce simple syrup

Lime wheel

DIRECTIONS

Combine lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice

Shake to chill

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and top with Barefoot Bubbly Prosecco

Garnish with lime wheel

PROPER PADDY’S PUNCH

Ingredients

1 Bottle of Proper No. Twelve Whiskey

1 12oz Can of Lemonade

1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice

250 ml Red Wine

3 Lemons, Sliced into Wheels, for Garnish

Directions: In a Large Punch Bowl, Add Proper Twelve Whiskey, Lemonade, and Fresh Lemon Juice. Refrigerate overnight. Add ice and stir. Top with Red Wine & Lemon Slices for Garnish

Verde Margarita

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Patron Silver

.75 oz Patron Citronge Orange

.75 St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur

.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz Fino Sherry

.5 oz Agave Syrup

1 Lime wedge

1 Celery Stick

1 Pinch salt

1 Celery spear & edible flower for garnish

Sugar, maldon salt & celery salt rim

METHOD

Rim a highball glass with a mix of sugar, maldon salt & celery salt.

Combine ingredients in a blender with crushed ice and blend until a slushy consistency is achieved.

Pour contents from blender into glass.

Garnish with celery spear and edible flower before a well-deserved siesta.

Roe & Co Irish Coffee

Ingredients

40ml Roe & Co

60ml freshly brewed americano coffee

10ml porter syrup/sugar syrup

15ml fresh lightly whipped cream

grated nutmeg & 3 coffee beans

Directions:

Heat the Irish coffee glass with boiling water. Once heated empty the water out and add 60ml of freshly brewed hot coffee and in the syrup. Stir lightly. Pour in 40ml of Roe & Co and layer lightly whipped fresh cream on top. Garnish with 3 coffee beans and a light dusting of grated nutmeg.

Tullamore D.E.W.’s Irish Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

2 part of Tullamore D.E.W. Original

Top with Freshly Brewed Hot Coffee

1 tbsp Brown Sugar

Heavy Cream, Slightly Whipped

METHOD: Preheat a clear-stemmed glass with very hot water. Add the sugar and brewed coffee and stir well. Once sugar has melted, stir in in the whisky. Gently whip the heavy cream by shaking it in a protein shaker with a blender ball — you want a still somewhat loose, not stiff consistency. Pour the cream over the back of a hot teaspoon to top the drink (and prevent cream from penetrating the top of the drink). Finally, garnish with grated nutmeg or cinnamon for spicy finish. for spicy finish.

Absolut Zen Clover

1oz Absolut Lime

.5oz cucumber juice (skin on)

.5oz junmai sake

.5oz yuzu

Green apple foam*

Garnish Kinome Leaf. Combine 4oz green apple juice (set with ascorbic acid) and 1 egg white in an ISI charger. Charge with NO2, shake and let sit for 2 min before using.

Green Gardens with Humboldt’s Finest

1.75 oz Humboldt’s Finest

.25 oz Green Chartreuse

.75 oz fresh squeezed lime juice

.5 oz simple syrup

1/4 of a small yellow bell pepper

Fresh oregano (3 leaves plus 1 stem for garnish)

Add 1 heaping tbsp of chopped pepper to shaker, muddle well, add 3 slightly smashed (use fingers, to release oils) oregano leaves, Humboldt’s Finest, Green Chartreuse, lime and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously, strain into a cocktail coupe. Garnish with oregano sprig and cut pepper wedge.

Straight Up Lucky

2 oz Gray Whale Gin

2 oz Green pressed juice.( Gray Whale’s favorite mix : Kale, Pineapple, lemon, ginger juice)

½ oz Agave syrup

Kale garnish

Shake with ice and strain. Serve straight up in a martini glass.

CUCUMBER COLLINS

Ingredients:

1.5oz Gin

0.5oz Fresh Lime Juice

5 Slices of Cucumber

2oz Reed’s Zero Sugar Ginger Beer

Mint Leafs To Taste
