Flushing Town Hall Ends Winter-Spring Season in June With Exciting Lineup
Flushing Town Hall’s carefully curated, quality family programming continues to captivate young audiences this season, culminating with the final two Global Mashup events, a celebration of Queens Jazz Orchestra, and much more. Tickets can be purchased at www.flushingtownhall.org.
This month, Flushing Town Hall will hold its 39th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, June 7, honoring Howard Graf, Graf & Lewent Architects, LLP, 1st annual Creative Design and Architecture Award; President Felix V. Matos Rodriguez, Queens College, CUNY; and, 9P Community Volunteers.
The annual benefit supports Flushing Town Hall’s annual arts and cultural programs that serve over 56,000 people annually, city-wide, of which over 18,000 are students, families and seniors. The event begins at 6 PM with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner, awards and entertainment at 7 PM, at 137–35 Northern Boulevard, Flushing. This season, Flushing Town Hall is opening its doors to teenagers — for FREE. Under the “Teen Access Program”, all 13- to 19-year-old boys and girls (whether a member or not) will be welcomed to attend any performance for free. The program is designed to appeal to students and help foster a greater love in the arts and culture.
