Fall Cocktail Drop: Rye on the Hudson is now yours to enjoy

Just in time for the coziest season, Ocean Prime New York, the modern American restaurant and lounge from renowned restaurateur Cameron Mitchell just released the ideal Autumn libation!

The booze-forward cocktail, Rye on the Hudson, highlights Hudson Rye whiskey with a nutty balance from Nocello Walnut Liqueur, Cherry Heering Liqueur, Lustau Don Nuno Dry Oloroso Sherry and Lemon Juice.

The nutty taste from the Nocello Walnut Liqueur combined with the Cherry Heering Liqueur gives the rich walnut decadence autumn dreams are made of. Plus, with Hudson Rye as an upstate NY staple, it’s the perfect spirit for the leaf-changing season.

The cocktail was selected as the winner of Ocean Prime’s National Associate Beverage Competition in which each Ocean Prime location in the country (out of 14) created a specialty cocktail which featured Hudson Whiskey, giving it their own twist. The winner, Rye on the Hudson, was created by Ocean Prime New York and will be served in every location nationally.


· 1 oz Hudson Rye

· 1/2 oz Nocello Walnut Liqueur

· 1/2 oz Cherry Heering Liqueur

· 1/4 oz Lustau Don Nuno Dry Oloroso Sherry

· 1/4 oz Lemon Juice

· 6 drops Orange Bitters

· 6 drops Cherry Vanilla bark bitters


Stir ingredients together and serve over crushed ice in a highball glass with a lemon ribbon garnish.
