It is officially spring…well sort of if you don’t count the snow! With spring comes celebrations, rooftops, and March Madness. With so much going on this season there are many ways you can enjoy it, but why not enjoy it with a nice glass of refreshing wine?

Meiomi — meaning “coast” is a name that pays tribute to and symbolizes the origin of the brand who sources its grapes from the coveted coastal regions of Sonoma, Santa Barbara, and Monterey to create a harmoniously balanced, smooth, and rich style wines. The Meiomi portfolio includes Pinot Noir (#1 Pinot Noir in the U.S.), Chardonnay, and a recently launched Rosé.

The wine is easily accessible with a screw top cap, each wine from the portfolio is an ideal pour to enjoy during the upcoming games as you cheer on your favorite teams. Check out some options below:

Meiomi Chardonnay

This chardonnay is a smooth wine with opulent layers of pineapple and lemon peel, heightened by sweet smells of honey, almonds, baking spices, and subtle custard notes. The full flavors are highlighted by succulent acidity and a clean mineral driven finish.

Meiomi Pinot Noir

Meiomi Pinot Noir has a rich garnet color with a ruby red edge. The wine opens to reveal fruit aromas of bright strawberry, mocha, and vanilla, along with toasty oak notes. Expressive boysenberry, blackberry, dark cheery, juicy strawberry, and toasting mocha flavors lend complexity and depth on the palate. Enjoyable with a wide array of food, but pairs particularly well with tomato based pasta dishes, thin crust pizza, and grilled lamb.

Meiomi Rosé

Meiomi Rosé is delicately pink in color and delightfully drive with vibrant acidity. With aromas of watermelon, orange peel, and subtle hints of rose petal on the nose, the palate offers lush flavors of stone fruit and strawberry with a cool minerality on the finish.
