Enjoy harbor-side views at the Piggyback Bar in Jersey City
Do you have some time in your summer schedule to visit Jersey City? If so, please allow us to put Piggyback Bar on your radar, located in the center of Harborside and run by Top Chef alum Leah Cohen and husband/co-owner, Ben Byruch.
As a New York native, Leah continues to find inspiration through her travels across Asia, learning from the locally renowned chefs. Tried and true favorites range from the Scallion Pancake Quesadilla, the ‘Instagram famous’ Padcakes, to Korean Honey Butter Wings. Sit back and relax with a Peach Frosé or Thai-Chili Margarita, and enjoy up close the view of the big apple.
Overlooking the Hudson River with breathtaking Lower Manhattan skyline, Piggyback Bar is a one-of-a-kind indoor-outdoor elevated American restaurant with Asian Gastropub influences, inspired by Leah’s Filipino background.
The 6,000 square-foot space has a main dining room and outdoor patio that can seat up to 200 guests. Opened in late 2017, Piggyback Bar is the second restaurant for the duo, who also own Pig & Khao in New York’s Lower East Side.
