On March 1st, DWTS’ contestant Victoria Arlen joined Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to kick off their third annual Make March Matter™ campaign (which raised over $1.7M last year!) The month-long Make March Matter™ initiative aligned the hospital with local businesses across Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley to rally community participation to support children’s health.

Throughout the month, more than 100 local businesses and corporate partners offered customers opportunities to raise money for CHLA through everyday activities such as drinking coffee, going shopping, eating out, or exercising.

“The month of March is a very exciting time for our hospital and our community supporters as they join forces to help support our mission of creating hope and building healthier futures,” says Children’s Hospital Los Angeles President and CEO Paul S. Viviano. “Whether it’s buying a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop to dining with family and friends at a neighborhood eatery or shopping at a favorite local boutique, there are so many ways — big and small — that people can participate and make a difference.”
