Check Out These Festive Holiday Offerings From The Roof & VNYL
There are many holiday pop-ups around NYC that are offering holiday cheer and exclusive offerings. However, we want to highlight two exclusive happenings that are happening at The Roof and NYC’s hot spot, VNYL. Take a look below for the details:
Winter Room at The Roof
Open daily, now through March 2018
The Roof at Viceroy Central Park, 124 West 27th Street
Decor: Think white snowy branches climbing along all corners of the room, large seasonal floral arrangements, lounge areas outfitted with fuzzy blankets and comfy pillows. You’ll see lots of white and sparkly eye-popping moments evocative of a classic New York Winter.
Offerings: The pop-up menu brings some deliciously warm cocktails to the mix as well as a selection of winter lodge-like dishes, like hot fondue and Belvedere-spiked hot chocolate. Plus, in partnership with Veuve, they will be featuring a ‘Veuve Clicquot In The Snow’ pop-up bar on the terrace (reminder rooftop terrace is enclosed and heated through the colder season!)
Perfect For: Midtown explorers looking to feel the holiday cheer, but far away from (or above) all the puffy-coated tourists.
Only Here: This wintery lodge up in the sky is not the only sight you’ll be taking in. That soon-to-be snowy Central Park view brings the Winter Room to a whole other level of seasonal greatness.
The VNYL’s Winter Wonderland
Open December 6th through January 2018
Daily from Wednesday — Saturday
100 3rd Avenue
Decor: The basement bar at The VNYL will be transformed into a world of winter white for the holiday season. Imagine a snowy forest on a cold winter night, with (LED) stars sprinkled in the sky and a sheet of snow covering everything from the ground to the treetops — it’ll feel like you’re hanging out in the North Pole.
Offerings: Warm-up with a number of specialty $10 holiday cocktails like the Holiday Hot Chocolate, Gin Stocking and Santa’s Sangria. There will also be a limited supply of The VNYL’s 1 year aged, rum based milk punch, so get it before it’s gone.
Perfect For: East Side locals looking to relish in the holidays without taking the trek to Midtown.
Only Here: This East Village hot-spot is hidden behind a record store, providing the perfect spot to enjoy holiday vibes in peace.
