Celebrate National Margarita Day in New York City

There’s nothing quite as refreshing as an ice-cold margarita with a perfectly salted rim. It’s so enjoyable, in fact, that National Margarita Day was formed in the drink’s honor.

National Margarita Day takes place tomorrow, February 22 and this year that falls on a Friday — giving you even more reason to celebrate. We rounded up the best deals and recipes for you to enjoy on the holiday.

Lot 15

On Saturday, February 22nd, Añejo will be offering guests two margarita flights to appease every kind of margarita fan out there. For spice-enthusiasts, the Tanteo Spicy Margarita Flight ($19) will feature jalapeño, chipotle and habañero margaritas, and The Standard Flight ($25) will feature blanco, añejo, mezcal, and jalepeño margaritas for those seeking a little bit of everything.

Raspberry Beret Margarita

2 oz Tres Agaves Organic Reposado Tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

.25 Agave Nectar

1 oz raspberry oat milk reduction

3 dashes chocolate molé bitters

Tiki — Rita Hayworth Margarita

2 oz Tres Agaves Organic Anejo Tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

.25 Agave Nectar

1 bar spoon of orange marmalade

3 dashes tiki bitters

Prickly Pear Margarita 2.0

2 oz Tres Agaves Organic Blanco Tequila

1 oz fresh lime juice

.5 oz Agave nectar

.75 oz pear purée

3 dashes of spicy bitters

Wild Kiss Margarita

1.5 oz of COÇA PURA

1 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice

1 oz Cointreau

.05 oz pomegranate simple syrup

Rim: Hibiscus sugar and Rock Salt

Garnish: 1 dehydrated blood orange and Rosemary

“JAJA, LOL” Margarita Recipe

2 oz. JAJA Reposado Tequila

½ oz. Fresh-squeezed Lime Juice

½ oz. Fresh-squeezed Lemon Juice

½ oz. Fresh-squeezed Orange Juice

¼ oz. Agave Syrup

Tajin Lime Wedge

Dry Ice Smoke

Flavor Notes/Description:

Fresh, light, a purist approach to a Margarita.

A vibrant, natural play on a Margarita that is primarily fresh juice and Tequila.



1 ½ oz. Tanteo® Blanco Tequila

3/4 oz. Ginger Liqueur

1/2 oz. Turmeric Simple Syrup

1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions:Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice Shake well and strain into an ice-filled Rocks Glass Garnish with a lemon wedge and a ginger slice



1 oz Cointreau

2 oz Blanco Tequila

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice


Combine all ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake and strain into a salt-rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Grand Marnier’s Grand Margarita


.75 oz of Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge

1.5 oz of Espolon Reposado

1 oz of Fresh Lime Juice

.25 oz of Agave Nectar

Garnish: Lime Wheel

Salt Optional

Instructions: Combine ingredients in a shaker tin, add ice, and shake. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wheel for a Grand twist on your classic margarita.

Cincoro Margarita

2 oz Cincoro Blanco Tequila

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

¾ oz Cointreau

¼ oz Agave Nectar

Method: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice in a Double Old-Fashioned glass

Garnish: Lime Wheel

Blanco: Spicy Ginger Margarita


2 ounces Los Arangos Blanco

1 ounce lime juice

½ ounce ginger simple syrup

3 slices fresh cut jalapeño

Tajín for rim


Rim your glass with Tajín

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice

Shake to chill and combine ingredients

Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
