Celebrate National Cocktail Day by Mixing Up Cold Brew Cocktails with HAVANA CLUB Rum
In celebration of National Cocktail Day on March 24th and National Cold Brew Day on April 20th — HAVANA CLUB Rum hosted an intimate Mixology Event at the East Village’s very own coffee shop and bar hybrid — The Roost to debut a new cold brew coffee cocktail made with HAVANA CLUB Rum.
The mixology event kicked off as host and brand ambassador, Jario Taveras mixed up the Airmail as a bubbly welcome cocktail and recounted the history of the real HAVANA CLUB Rum. Taveras then dove into the mixology session, teaching each guest how to mix up the limited-edition rum-infused cold brew cocktail — The HAVANA Old Fashioned.
Made with HAVANA CLUB Añejo Clásico Rum and created in collaboration with The Roost, guests were able to enjoy this caffeinated twist on a classic cocktail, before it hits The Roost’s Spring menu starting March 24 through the month of April.
The real HAVANA CLUB is an authentic Cuban rum, with deep-rooted ties to its heritage, cocktails, and culture. Just as rum is inherent to Cuban culture, so is coffee, which The Roost and HAVANA CLUB are happy to collaborate on to bring the spirit of Cuba to the people of New York.
