Celebrate Day of the Dead with these Casa Noble cocktails

La Día de los Muertos (Oct. 31 — Nov. 2), or “the Day of the Dead,” is not a Mexican version of Halloween, as it’s so often misunderstood by the rest of the world. This holiday is much brighter — celebrating the dead through colorful festivities, delicious food and a whole lot of tequila.

Below please find some cocktails worth sharing with friends and family during Day of the Dead celebrations from Casa Noble Tequila (and Kim Crawford for wine lovers!)

PALOMA DE LOS MUERTOS

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Casa Noble Crystal Tequila

1 oz lime juice

1 oz grapefruit juice

0.5 oz agave nectar

Sparkling water

Grapefruit wedge

PREPARATION

Place Casa Noble, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and agave nectar into shaker with ice.

Shake until chilled.

Strain into glass over ice (salt or lime-and-chili powder rim optional), top with sparkling water, and swirl.

Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

NOBLE TWIST

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz Casa Noble Añejo Tequila

0.5 oz lemon juice

0.5 oz lime juice

0.25 oz green chartreuse

0.5 oz simple syrup

Lemon peel

PREPARATION

Place all ingredients, except lemon peel, in glass; add ice and swizzle.

Squeeze lemon peel; rub around rim and drop into glass.

MARIGOLD PUNCH

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz Casa Noble Crystal Tequila

0.5 oz lime juice

1 oz pineapple juice

0.75 oz simple syrup

Soda water

Dash bitters

Pineapple wedge

PREPARATION

Place Casa Noble, lime juice, pineapple juice, and simple syrup into shaker with ice.

Shake until chilled.

Strain into glass; top with soda and bitters.

Garnish with pineapple wedge and a Marigold!

ROSÉ-JITO

Wine drinkers can celebrate too!

INGREDIENTS

4 sprigs of fresh mint

2 oz agave syrup or simple syrup

3 oz fresh lime juice

20 oz Kim Crawford Rosé

10 oz grapefruit flavored soda water

PREPARATION

In a large pitcher, gently muddle mint with syrup. Top with lime juice, Rosé and soda. Mix well. Serve over ice and garnish with grapefruit slices.

CALAVERA-RITA

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Casa Noble Crystal Tequila

1 oz agave nectar

1 oz lime juice

Lime wedge

PREPARATION

Place ingredients, except lime wedge, into shaker with ice.

Shake until chilled.

Strain into glass (salt rim optional).

Garnish with lime wedge.
