BL Burger Bar in NoLita is launching brunch service this weekend, featuring egg dishes, omelets, torrijas, their signature burgers and more from Michelin-starred chef Wayne Nish. The brunch menu will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from noon — 3 pm.
Chef Nish is offering brunch goers a variety of egg dishes including omelets with their choice of cheese, bacon, ham, gravlax, capers, stewed kale, and broccoli rabe, just to name a few. Other menu items include Chef’s decadent Torrijas, fresh fruit, oatmeal and their signature burger menu.
Choose a six-ounce patty of beef, chicken, fish, or lamb, accompanied by home-cut fries. Then select a platter of accouterments to build your customized burger. Choices include cheddar, blue cheese or gruyere, Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, romaine leaves, pickled mushrooms, pickled red onions, smoked ham, cornichons, house-cured salmon, salmon caviar, avocado cream, capers, housemade torchon de foie gras de canard, and fruit chutney. Sides include shoestring frites; stewed greens and mac and cheese.
Brunch is so much more fun with handcrafted cocktails; and mixologist Miguel Aranda delivers with more than a dozen options for you including: Rosemary Gimlet with rosemary infused gin, lemon balm, agave; Prince Smash with Bourbon, citrus/thyme reduction, lime, sugar cane; London Gang with gin, fresh berries mix, lemon balm, fresh mint, sugar cane; Sicario with basil infused tequila, pineapple, agave, lime, basil salt and hibiscus tincture; Red Kiss with rum, strawberry, fresh ginger, agave, lime, and Frida Rush with tequila, herbs reduction, habanero tincture, cucumber water, lime, and agave.
Chef Nish contributed to the New York dining scene with groundbreaking restaurant March. He is bringing food lovers a new way to enjoy the art of the burger with “burger bar” table-service menu offering simple burgers and burgers with all the trimmings.
