Today, Barneys New York announced “thedropLA@barneys”, the second iteration of its successful two-day experience, which premiered in New York last October. thedropLA@barneys will take place on June 2 & 3 at Barneys New York’s Beverly Hills flagship and on Barneys.com.
thedropLA@barneys will feature 90+ brands, 20+ exclusive capsule collections, designer appearances, experiential installations and environments, unique in-store activations, compelling programming and entertainment.
Brands include Prada, Heron Preston, FEAR OF GOD, Fendi, Moschino, Palm Angels, Givenchy, Balmain, Versace, Rick Owens, FILA, Greg Lauren, A-COLD-WALL*, AREA, TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist, Manolo Blahnik, Wu Wear, Birkenstock, and more. Other exclusive releases include Tupac by 424, Emrata x Spinelli Kilcollin, Onia x WeWoreWhat, and the first-ever exclusive Barneys New York x Jordyn Woods and Barneys New York x Justine Skye shoe collaborations.
In this reimagined iteration, thedropLA@barneys captures the creative spirt of Los Angeles with one-of-a-kind immersive brand environments including a Prada Pachinko Parlor, FEAR OF GOD installation, Heron Preston NASA-inspired environment, “Sliced by Fila” pizzeria, Birkenstock Park serving Moon Juice refreshments, Everytown raffle installation featuring Balenciaga with 100% of proceeds going to Everytown for Gun Safety, a roller rink featuring Gucci with roller performances and skate rentals for guests throughout the weekend. Other environments include a live butterfly bar containing jewelry, and an aquarium housing beauty and skincare brands.
Saturday’s events will consist of designer appearances, activations ranging from tattoos to screen printing, live entertainment, and a surprise musical performance presented by Live Nation.
