Banana Republic’s kicked-off to PRIDE Month at the Cupid’s Span Statue located outside of the Gap Inc. headquarters in San Francisco, check out some of the collection images below.
The iconic Cupid’s Span — a 60-feet tall bow and arrow sculpture that was commissioned by GAP founders Donald and Doris F. Fisher and inspired by San Francisco’s reputation as the home port of Eros — served as the backdrop for the company-wide tribute to the LGBTQ + community.
For the tribute, employees gathered together to form a rainbow-colored heart around the sculpture, creating a powerful image of equality and love to be shared around the world.
In addition, Banana Republic is excited to announce that they will be introducing a limited-edition LOVE IS LOVE capsule collection of t-shirts and select items throughout the month of June, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the United Nations Free & Equal program.
