American Express Announces Virtual Center Court Club During US Open Finals with Celebrity Guests Anthony Anderson and Jonathan Van Ness

With the 2020 US Open underway — longstanding partners of the famed tennis tournament are looking for new and exciting ways to give tennis fans the ultimate US Open experience, just now from the comfort of their home.

This year, even though tennis fans are not physically together in Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadiums with the pros, American Express is bringing them together through the virtual Center Court Club. This virtual experience provides the opportunity for American Express Card Members to interact with other fans and celebrities like Black-ish’s Anthony Anderson and Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness in a suite-like experience from the comfort of their home during the men’s and women’s finals.

The esteemed Blask-ish actor shared, “I’m a big tennis fan, and there’s nothing like the excitement and energy from fans during the US Open,” says Anthony Anderson. “Which is why I’m thrilled to partner with American Express to bring that energy to a virtual platform through their Center Court Club experience.”

Similarly, the Queer Eye star reciprocated those sentiments about the partnership, “I’m excited to partner with American Express for their US Open experience, the Virtual Center Court Club,” says Jonathan Van Ness. “Embracing the new normal and providing Card Members with a way to watch the US Open from home and still connect with other fans virtually captures the spirit of the US Open.”

Card Members will also be able to try their hand at a virtual Honey Deuce mixology class, play trivia, and more!

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and available for American Express Card Members via the hub on the website. They will be sold as pair of two for $50, with all proceeds donated to Feeding America.
