Adam Rippon Turns to Mixology with the Moet Riviera Spritz
With summer heating up it’s time to get cool, and there’s no better duo to lead the icy charge than Olympic figure-skater Adam Rippon and the first ever champagne designed to be served over ice, Moët Ice Impérial.
Together, the two are kicking-off the summer season with the brand-new cocktail the Moët Riviera Spritz — designed by the bubbly Olympian himself — and I’d love to see if it’s a fit to feature or include in cocktail recipe round ups for summer entertaining.
Inspired by the jetsetters in the South of France who championed the unexpected champagne over ice ritual and dubbed the drinkLa Piscine (“The Swimming Pool”), Adam has crafted a signature sip that reflects his personality — effervescent, bubbly, and especially dazzling on ice.
The Moët Riviera Spritz incorporates a beautiful balance of fresh lavender and elderflower liqueur native to France, and is topped with Moët Ice Impérial to round out a perfect cocktail to transport you to St. Tropez!
