A Rose, Is A Rose & Of Purity & Pear Are Two Delightful Spring Cocktails You Should Try
Some of you may know that I love Spring and with Spring comes new cocktails! These particular cocktails are designed to usher in the first blossoms of springtime — A Rose, is a Rose, built with Grey Goose Interpreted by Ducasse and rose wine, and the jasmine infused Of Purity and Pear cocktail.
Both cocktails embody seamless fusions of feminine florals and sweet fruit juice sure to bring an end to those dreary winter months. Their bright appearances and refreshing aromas make them the perfect drink to sip out on the porch (or patio, or fire escape…) as the days grow longer.
A Rose, is a Rose and the Of Purity and Pear cocktail are the newest additions to one of 2018’s largest predicted cocktail trends: the bartender with the green thumb. Mixologists around the country are swapping out complicated recipes for simple plant-based ingredients to stir up fresh and natural libations. And in a year when consumers are trying to be good to themselves and good to the world, relaxing with a natural, boozy beverage isn’t a bad way to go about it.

A Rose, is a Rose (Created and Served at Bar Alter, Miami)
1 oz Grey Goose Interpreted by Ducasse
1.5 oz Rosé Wine
.5 oz Brovo Pink Vermouth
.5 oz Bonal Gentiane-Quina Aperitif
Blood orange oil (expression)
Combine all ingredients in a Yarai glass (mixing glass), stir till chilled. Double strain into a coup. Express the oils of a blood orange over the chilled coup. Garnish with the blood orange peel.
Of Purity and Pear (Adolphus Hotel, Dallas)
1.5 ounces Jasmine Pearl Green Tea infused Grey Goose Vodka
.25 ounces Poire Du Roulot
.5 ounces lemon juice
.5 ounces simple syrup
